    1. Install Eclipse and JDK

    • Download and install the latest version of Eclipse IDE for Java Developers from the official website.

    2. Create a New Java Project

    1. Open Eclipse and go to File > New > Java Project.

    2. In the dialog box: Enter a project name (e.g., MyFirstProject). Leave other settings as default.

    3. Click Finish to create the project.

    3. Create a Package

    1. Right-click on the src folder in your project.

    2. Select New > Package.

    3. Enter a package name (e.g., com.example.myfirstprogram) and click Finish.

    4. Create a Java Class

    1. Right-click on the newly created package.

    2. Select New > Class.

    3. In the dialog: Enter a class name (e.g., HelloWorld). Check the box for public static void main(String[] args) to auto-generate the main method.

    4. Click Finish.
